About me
With over a decade of experience working with youth both within and beyond school systems, my work has been grounded in restorative practices, trauma-informed care, and social justice. My journey began with lived experience navigating the school-to-prison pipeline, which later fueled my advocacy and research in college—founding an Underground Scholars chapter at UC Santa Cruz focused on elevating the voices of formerly incarcerated students
in higher education. Professionally, I’ve focused on Addiction Prevention Services at the high school level, where I lead psychoeducation, build awareness, and support staff in creating inclusive spaces that prioritize wellness. I believe restorative practices are essential during Expanded Learning time, as they create the relational foundation students need to fully access their education and build community.
