Lauren Cage has been with The Tech Interactive in San Jose, CA, since 2012, where she has held several educator roles. She currently serves as a Professional Development Specialist, developing educational content and leading professional development for educators on design challenge learning, computational thinking, and social-emotional learning. She has previously held educator roles at the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose and the David Owsley Museum of Art in Muncie, Indiana. Pre-COVID, Lauren developed and ran S.T.E.A.M. workshops for youth under the names Tinker Belles (2015-2019) and Magical Thinking (2019-2020), including multiple workshops for the nationally recognized Make-HER series at Sunnyvale Library. She has served as an art committee member for the Alliance for Youth Achievement (2015-2021), which focused on pop-up S.T.E.A.M. projects, public art workshops, and youth leadership.
