About me
Lizzie Nolan is a Senior Librarian in Expanded Learning at the San Jose Public Library. She supports afterschool and out-of-school-time programs across all 24 SJPL locations. A 2023 Library Journal Movers & Shakers award recipient, she collaborates with SJ Learns to fund innovative literacy programs for K–3 students. As someone who is dyslexic, Lizzie knows firsthand that the path to loving books isn't always a straight line. She champions unconventional entry points like audiobooks and graphic novels to help every child find their way to reading.
