About me
I bring a background in sociology and public health (with a focus on population data science), paired with 16 years of hands-on experience supporting youth in expanded learning settings—from volunteer roles to program director. My work centers on creating safe, supportive environments that promote social-emotional growth and positive behavior. I’ve led teams, mentored staff, and designed engaging programs that prioritize emotional regulation and student connection. I’ve also presented at public health forums at San José State University, sharing insights on youth development and community impact.
