About me
Rahele Atabaki is the Coordinator of Expanded Learning Programs for the Sacramento County Office of Education, providing technical assistance and professional development to school districts and expanded learning programs across Northern California. With more than 25 years in education, including experience as a TK–1 teacher, district director, and early learning leader, she specializes in developmentally appropriate practices, play-based learning, multilingual learner supports, and high-quality expanded learning programs. Rahele is passionate about helping afterschool staff create engaging environments where young learners can build academic, social-emotional, and leadership skills through exploration, movement, and meaningful relationships. Her work focuses on aligning Expanded Learning Quality Standards with practical strategies that staff can implement immediately.
