About me
Wes Baker is the founder of Raise Readers Workshops, a bilingual parent literacy program serving K-12 schools across California. Raise Readers partners with schools to build family engagement through hands-on workshops that give parents practical tools to support reading at home. His experience in literacy and family engagement spans roles as a reading teacher, Dean of Culture, San Jose Library Commissioner, and Solutions Executive at Scholastic Education Solutions.
